InfoRob J Petsche is married with two children, Sophia and Ellis. His wife Trixy is a nurse and they reside in Manchester. Rob grew up in Dubuque County and received his education locally as well. Graduating from Western Dubuque High School, Northeast Iowa Community College and Clarke College. Rob has spent most of his adult life working in the private business sector, as well as spending three years teaching. Two years at West Delaware High School and one year at Bagdad High School in Arizona. Rob grew up with a patriotic passion. He argued with his parents during the 1980 election on who to vote for between Carter and Reagan. He viewed Carter as a better candidate because Carter was a peanut farmer and one of the people. He has evolved in his beliefs from his experiences. In his first presidential vote of 1992 Rob voted for Ross Perot, seeking to change the status quo. Rob changed paths to become the Co-Chair of the Republican Central Committe in Dubuque County. After seeing first hand that both the Democrats and Republicans both followed the tax and spend mantra, Rob left the party and found his true beliefs in the Libertarian party. The lack of liberty and true choice that the two major parties have is un-American. They both proclaim to offer more freedoms and choice, but it has to be on their terms. Rob is seeking your vote to help alter the political landscape. Rob is imposing on himself a term limit and would expect that of all politicians. It is time to return politicians to part-time, temporary residents of Washington, D.C. I would appreciate your vote to be a future part-time, temporary politician for Iowa's 1st Congressional District.
