| Info | J.D. Sheffield, D.O., is Medical Director at Coryell Medical Clinic and former Chief of Staff at Coryell Memorial Hospital. As a small town doctor for 19 years, he has witnessed the harm that special interests and political insiders have caused for his patients and the cost and quality of rural medical care.
He is running for State Representative to defend our freedoms from big government, take our voice back from entrenched political elites, and focus on what really matters to the families of District 59.
Dr. Sheffield is not a career politician. For nearly two decades he has devoted his life’s work to caring for the health and well-being of families in our community.
He is active in our community as a board member of the Le Vita Volunteer Fire Department and was a board member for our local Boys and Girls Club. Dr. Sheffield and his wife, Gina, are also active in their church, Coryell Community Church. As a doctor, a husband, a community leader, and a Christian, Dr. Sheffield has earned a solid reputation for honesty, integrity, and service.
Dr. Sheffield is a lifelong conservative Republican who believes that limited government, traditional family values, and honest hard work are the backbone of America. Unfortunately, these values are under attack by the political establishment in Austin and in Washington.
As our State Representative, Dr. Sheffield will stand up to the special interests, lobbyists, and big government politicians in both parties to fight for our values no matter the cost.
