Info Ordained as a minister in 1986, Margo Davidson co-founded a non-profit organization as part of her ministry to children whose parents where addicted to alcohol and other drugs and to the parents themselves. That organization, Anti - Drug & Alcohol Crusaders (ADAC), founded in 1989, is still thriving today and serves nearly 200 children and families, annually. Margo continues her ministry at Impacting Your World Christian Center under the direction of Pastor Ray and Tracey Barnard.

Ten years after forming ADAC, Margo turned her attention to developing economic opportunities for families through entrepreneurship. As a service to women, Ms. Davidson founded, with four other businesswomen, the African American Female Entrepreneurs’ Alliance in March 1998. AAFEA has served nearly 500 businesses through nine conferences in addition to bi-monthly workshops, networking events and computer classes. These events were available to everyone. This organization allowed Ms. Davidson to use her proven ability as a trainer, organizer, marketer and events planner to advance the aspirations of her clients and community constituents. AAFEA also offers micro-loans trough their partnership with Community Capital Works and is an MOU partner with the Small Business Administration’s Office of Women’s Business Ownership.

Margo began her career in the media including work at WTXF - TV 29, WDAS AM & FM radio and WHYY-TV 12 in Philadelphia. She served as associate producer at WHYY - TV 12 after seven years at WDAS radio, where she was a political reporter, associate producer for public affairs programs, assistant to the News Director and on-air personality. Davidson hosted the public affairs program “We Mean Business” on WDAS AM radio for over 10 years. Her extensive media experience lead to the start of her first consultant business J.I.L. Media Enterprises in 1987. Most of her clients included community-orientated stakeholders who listened to WDAS and served the public good in charitable organizations or business owners who regularly contributed to non-profits. Through her training at LaSalle University's Non Profit Management Center she successfully helped small non-profits serve their constituents better.

Margo Davidson's client's have included the Utility Services Emergency Fund, Anti-Drug & Alcohol Crusaders, Philadelphia's Coordinating Office for Drug & Alcohol Abuse Programs, Philadelphia's AIDS Activities Coordinating Office, The Partnership Project, the Philadelphia Development Partnership and a number of small businesses and community-based organizations.

A native of Philadelphia, educated in Philadelphia's public school system, she was among the first graduating class of the much-acclaimed High School for the Creative and Performing Arts where she was a drama major. Ms. Davidson earned her Bachelors Degree from Temple University's School of Communications. She also participated in the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School Post-Graduate Certificate program in Management. She has lived most of her adult life in Delaware County for over 20 years.
