The 78-year-old Londerholm served as attorney general from 1965
to 1969, and he was later chairman of the Kansas racing commission.

A graduate of the University of Kansas with a PhD from its School of Law, Bob also served as the Asst. Atty. General and as the Director and General Council for both the Kansas Corp Commission and the Kansas Dept of Revenue before going into private practice as an attorney specializing in elder care. During his distinguished career, he also served at various times as a Chairman on the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, Kansas Racing Commission, Blue Valley School Board (Chairman), Blue Valley Fire District and with the March of Dimes. Early on he also taught law classes at KU and UMKC and later Sunday School at the Church of the Resurrection. Col. Londerholm is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Beverly Jane, his four devoted children Robert Jr (Deloris), David (Sue), Stephen, and Katherine (Randall) Lipps, sixteen very special grand children, Tom, Rob 111 (Staci), Stephen (Jenny), Drew, Jonathan, Kevin Londerholm, and ten others, four precious great grand children, Preslee, Kyson, Luka and Hina. An avid history buff, voracious reader and spirited adventurer, Bob loved sharing his knowledge, traveling the world, taking cruises and having memorable experiences with cherished family and friends - especially with his grand kids in Branson, MO and at the country home he shared with Bev for 47 yrs in Johnson County. Wise, kind, funny and generous, Bob will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
