On Aug. 28, 1953, given ad interim appointment to the Superior Court and a full term designation to that court on Sept. 0, 1953. Served in Appellate Division from March 1952 to Aug. 20, 1957. On the latter date named by Governor Robert B. Meyner as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.
