As the chief executive officer, she gained experience creating and working within budgets and making decisions about policies and procedures all while utilizing a solutions-based approach and maintaining a customer service focus. She also produced an independent film (Siren), which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival.

As of July 2017, Fiore represents the City of Las Vegas as the Councilwoman for Ward 6, and in July of 2019, was asked by Mayor Carolyn Goodman to serve as her Mayor Pro Tem and was then unanimously elected by her peers. She stays active in the community, creating outreach events and hosting numerous community events in the ward that allow her residents to talk to her face to face. Fiore’s mission statement is, “My mission is simple – to keep freedoms for our families so that our legacies can live on infinitely, working together in a healthy environment.”

As the Ward 6 Councilwoman, Fiore sits on several community boards, including the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), who, as the official destination marketing organization of Las Vegas, promotes tourism, conventions, meetings and special events – as well as ongoing advocacy to extend the city’s influence as a leader in tourism and hospitality. As a member of the LVCVA board, Fiore has personally traveled to several countries to promote Las Vegas as the world’s premier tourist destination. She also serves on the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition, the Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument Advisory Council and is an Alternate on the Nellis Civilian Military Council Executive Board. Fiore spent two terms in the Nevada Legislature representing Clark County’s Assembly District 4 from 2012 to 2016. She served on the Education, Health and Human Services, Commerce and Labor, Judiciary, Legislative Operations and Elections, and Transportation Committees and sponsored a total of 118 Bills during her legislator career. She attended Legislative/Special Sessions November 2012 – November 2014 – November 2015. She also served on the following Interim Committees: Advisory Commission on the Administration of Justice’s Subcommittee on the Medical Use of Marijuana; Advisory Committee to Study Laws Concerning Sex Offender Registration; Sunset Subcommittee of the Legislative Commission, and the Task Force on the Prevention of Sexual Abuse of Children.

As a community activist, Fiore has volunteered thousands of hours to the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP), responding to traumatic incidents across Las Vegas and providing crisis intervention support to trauma victims and first responders.

Fiore worked on a volunteer basis with Metro’s SWAT team to enhance community safety and provide secure environments for live drills, helping ensure our police are well-trained and on the cutting edge of their profession. She also served on the Metro’s Use of Force Review Board, helping ensure accountability within the department.

Fiore is an ardent supporter of the Second Amendment and has been interviewed on a range of subjects involving gun ownership and regulations, including school safety. She is a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, Front Sight Firearms Training Institute and a member of Second Amendment Sisters.

In her spare time, Fiore spends her time with her grandchildren, teaching them to ride horses and ATV’s, hike and camp, along with gun safety and target practice. Her oldest grandchild, Jake, won his first place in rodeo flags and is active with Boy Scouts of America. Fiore also loves treating her grand-princesses to spa days and taking her family on Disneyland adventures.
