Info | I was born in Brentwood, in Allegheny County, as the last of five children. My father died before I was born, leaving my mother Lois to raise five children on her own.
These were tough times, for her and for us. But she always inspired me to face problems with a smile, and helped instill in me the work ethic and sense of drive that has served me so well in life.
George Romero, Director of Night of the Living Dead, gave me my start in the film industry. Although I loved acting, my biggest hits were in behind the scenes positions, guiding the complex processes of film production to a safe conclusion. It was challenging work and lots of fun.
I met my wife, Carla, on a film set here in Pittsburgh. We eventually moved to California to advance our respective careers in entertainment. But when we had our first child, Liam, we decided to move back to Pennsylvania to raise him in a more wholesome and conservative environment, away from Hollywood's bright lights, glamour and high pressure lifestyles.
