| Info | My name is George Heron and I am the Green Party candidate for Bury South. I am 63 years old and have been a member of the Green Party nationally for 20 years. I was born in Salford and have lived in Prestwich since 1980.
We believe that, in this election, the three main parties are offering an inadequate choice to the electorate. They all share the belief that the only way forward for the British economy is via swinging public sector cuts. Many economists disagree, and so do we.
We are widely tipped to get a foothold in Westminster in this election with the election of Caroline Lucas in Brighton Pavilion.
The only wasted vote is a vote you don’t believe in. If you don’t accept the cosy consensus within the current discredited Parliament, shake it up by voting for the only party that is prepared for the challenges of the twenty first century.
