Info | Abraham Tischler, born and raised in Brooklyn, has gained the education and insight necessary to understand and serve the community’s needs. From an early age his parents, Harold and Linda Tischler, have instilled in Abraham respect for his community and a passion for community outreach.
Abraham grew up in a part of the residential district called Borough Park. Having been schooled and employed in the district, Mr. Tischler is thoroughly familiar with the needs and issues of many neighborhoods, including Borough Park, Flatbush, Midwood, Kensington, and Ditmas Park.
Abraham has a strong reputation and history of volunteer work in the community. In testimony to his passion for community outreach, Abraham began to volunteer in Maimonides Medical Center when he was only in grade school. He visited the sick, cared for their daily needs, and brought joy to the many who resided there. Abraham’s self-fulfillment has enabled him to positively influence young adults, encouraging them to serve in civic and public organizations. For instance, he assisted the organization, titled, Ohel Bais Ezra recruit young adults to help children with special needs. Along with being a devoted volunteer of Maimonides Medical Center, Abraham contributed much work and effort to a food organization called Masbia.
It was through these experiences and devoted commitments to community affairs which made Abraham aware of the many people in his community that are continuing to struggle to find jobs. Today, there are also many businesses that have trouble keeping employees on payroll. Because Abraham knows that small businesses are the backbone of our economy, he will fight eagerly to help increase public-private partnerships to help small businesses grow and help create more job opportunities.
Mr. Tischler is an advocate for the elderly and the disabled. He will work diligently to improve access to healthcare and fight for the programs that these people deserve. He will fight against the unnecessary cuts that are veritably instrumental to many families. Abraham will fight on their behalf as a token of appreciation for their long-term of strength, service, and dedication to the community.
With a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in political science, Mr. Tischler has established his commitment to education. His growing interest in politics has led him to pursue a career in law. Abraham’s pursuit of law will enable him to develop skills to become an admirable and respectable community representative.
