Info | For the past twenty years Marck has served as a licensed attorney for the state of Kansas. His most recent past experience has been as a legal mediator to facilitate “win-win” solutions for domestic and civil law issues. He has been involved in leadership positions with the American Red Cross Sunflower Chapter, the International Chess Institute of the Midwest in Lindsborg, the McPherson Museum and Arts Foundation, the McPherson Chamber of Commerce, and the McPherson County Bar Association.
Marck served for twenty-four years with the U.S. Air Force in the defense of our nation and retired as Lieutenant Colonel. He served as a command pilot, diplomat, and Pentagon analyst. He negotiated an international treaty for special flight operations between the United States and the former Soviet Union. As Deputy Chief for Long-Range Planning for the Air Force in the Pentagon, he supervised the air operation research plans for the first Gulf War. Marck has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and other medals for his flying achievements in Southeast Asia, his diplomacy in Russia, and his accomplishments in the Pentagon.
Marck is a graduate of Galva Rural High School, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Naval Postgraduate School, and Washburn University Law School. He lives in Galva, Kansas and is married to Francine. His son, Layton, is an Eagle Scout and sophomore at Wichita State University.
