| Info | Wilson was president of the college Republican club at Harvard, where he quintupled the membership from 100 to 500 in a year. “No small feat,” he explained, “at a college that’s the last bastion of liberalism in the People’s Republic of Cambridge.”
Wilson was referring to the values he has, and how they were forged by his parents. His mother was born in Greece, and lived there during World War II, when the Nazis occupied the country, and afterward, when Communists engaged in a civil war.
“She had seen government in all of its 20th Century excesses,” he said. As for him, “Ronald Reagan cemented my belief in the American dream.”
