| Info | State Representative Churie Spreng serves District 76 in North County, St. Louis. She sits on the House Children and Families Committee, House Small Business Committee, and the House Utilities Committee. Rep. Spreng was born December 7, 1976 and is a native of St. Louis. Married to former State Representative Michael J. Spreng, they reside in Florissant, Missouri and have three children, and four grandchildren. Rep. Spreng is a 2009 graduate of the Sue Shear Leadership Academy at UMSL, and is currently pursuing degrees in Sociology and Social Work at the University of Missouri St. Louis. She served as President of the UMSL – ASUM (Associated Students of the University of Missouri). While attending Florissant Valley Community College, she served as President of the Young Democrat Club. She worked as an Educator Assistant at Florissant Valley Community College, and also served as a swim instructor at the college. She is a member of the Communications Workers of America (CWA), Local # 6300, the St. Rose Philippine-Duchesne Catholic Church, North County, Inc., Greater North County Chamber of Commerce, Florissant Valley Jaycees, Florissant Open Democratic Club, Airport Democratic Club and North County Labor Legislative Club. Her legislative focus is on best serving Missouri's workers and their families, and issues dealing with children, senior citizens, animal advocacy and advocacy for women.
