Info | Rep. Gary Fuhr, a Republican, represents part of St. Louis County (District 97) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Fuhr is employed as the Director of Security for Drury Hotels. He previously served as a Special Agent with the FBI from 1980 until his retirement in 2001, and a St. Louis Police Officer from 1971-1980. He also served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1966-1969.
Rep. Fuhr attends Mary Mother of the Church. He is a member of the Former Special Agents of the FBI and currently serves as the treasurer of the St. Louis chapter. He is also a member of the NRA, South County Chamber of Commerce and the Missouri State Corporate Security Advisors.
Rep. Fuhr is a 1966 graduate of Ritenour High School. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from Maryville University in 1974.
Born December 13, 1947 in St. Louis, Rep. Fuhr currently lives in St. Louis County with his wife, Denise. They have four children and seven grandchildren.
