| Info | DiAnne Gove has been an assemblywoman since 2009, serving as Republican policy co-chairwoman since 2014.
A life-long resident of Long Beach Township, Gove served three terms on the township commission, and was mayor from 2004 to 2008. She was also a commissioner on the Ocean County Utilities Authority from 2000 to 2009.
Gove is a retired teacher who taught American history and civics from 1974 to 2006 at her alma mater, Southern Regional High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social science from Cabrini College in 1973 and a master’s in social studies from Monmouth University in 1980.
