| Info | Mr. Paxton was born May 24, 1911 in Warrensburg, the son of Edward L. and Lyda Hawkins Paxton. He was the publisher of the Shelbyville Daily News until 1955. He later retired as a sales representative for Sun Chemical Corporation. Mr. Paxton also served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion in Decatur. He married Emma Luchow April 3, 1948.
