InfoRobert Dold is a third-generation native of the 10th District. He was born at Evanston Hospital, grew up in the same house in Winnetka where his parents still reside and attended the Joseph Sears School. Like his father, Bob graduated from New Trier High School. He was a leader in athletics, quarterback of the football team and captain of the wrestling and lacrosse teams. After New Trier, Bob continued a family tradition and earned a BA from Denison University. Robert’s educational credentials include a law degree from Indiana University (where he was selected by his classmates to give the commencement address) and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business.

Today, Bob runs Rose Pest Solutions, a small business founded in 1860. It is the oldest pest management company in the United States. Rose Pest Solutions is headquartered in Northfield and serves families and businesses throughout the District and beyond. Bob is active in the pest control industry and serves on numerous boards and associations where he advocates for small business on a broad range of issues at the local, state and federal level. As a small business owner and operator, Bob has faced many of the challenges and opportunities confronting our country today.

Prior to taking over control of Rose Pest Solutions from his father, Bob gathered extensive and diverse experience both in Washington and business. He served as an investigative counsel for the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee and worked for the Vice President in the first Bush administration. Bob has been active in local Republican Party activities for more than 20 years. He has also worked on numerous Presidential campaigns since 1992.

Bob is an active member of his local community. For the past ten years he has been the Scoutmaster for Troop 13 Senior Scouts, the same troop where he became an Eagle Scout.

Today Bob lives on the North Shore, just a few blocks away from his childhood home, his sister and her family, his church, and the public schools he attended. Bob and his wife of ten years, Danielle, are the proud parents of three children – Harper (7), Bobby (5) and Honor (2).

As the 10th District’s Representative to Congress, Bob will fight for the people of the 10th District with the same integrity, passion, determination, and common sense that he brings to everything he does.
