InfoCatherine Crabill has been married to her husband, Chris, for 24 years. Chris is a seventh generation Virginian whose great ancestor, Christian Crabill, received a tremendous land grant from Lord Fairfax in the Shenandoah Valley for riding a horse that Lord Fairfax bet couldn’t be ridden.

Catherine is a graduate of Woodstock Central High School in Woodstock, Virginia. She spent her early teen years in Alexandria. Though she only experienced a semester at Community College, she became a voracious reader and a great student of the Bible, her greatest passion to this day.

Chris and Catherine have four children which they Home Schooled for many years. Their family moved to the Village of Weems on the Northern Neck in 1996. In 2001 Catherine earned her Real Estate License and has been a successful multi-award winning Realtor. At that time their children were enrolled in Chesapeake Academy in Irvington. Subsequently, their two oldest children, Jessica & Cody, graduated from Christchurch School (Jessica graduated with honors!). Their two youngest sons, Sam and Zach attended Lancaster Middle School and currently attend Lancaster High School

Chris is a custom cabinet and fine woodworker currently employed with his brother-in-law in Northern Virginia where he spends the week working because construction has slowed so significantly here on the Neck. In this last year and a half of the real estate market slow down, Catherine has accepted several positions as part time office manager, gardener, chief cook and bottle washer! As she will tell you herself, there is no shame in honest hard work, no matter how humble.
