| Info | Henry was born in Chicago in 1946. He grew up in Lake Forest, and graduated from Lake Forest Academy in 1965. After that, he did a few years abroad before graduating from Lake Forest College with a Bachelor of Arts in 1973. After that, he worked for Illinois Tool Works from 1973 to 1975 as an auditor. Then, he worked for Chicago Corp on the Board of Options floor for six months. Then, he worked for A.G. Edwards (1978) and Merrill Lynch (1978-1990) with sales, retail and institutional customers. After he left Merrill, Henry started his own soft drink company called Spectrum Dispensing developing a soft-drink dispensing system that he tried to commercialize in the late 1990s. Since then, Henry has been working with his brothers developing his farm.
Henry has lived on his farm in Frankfort since 1981. He has been actively involved in local organizations as well. He worked with the Boy Scouts by sitting on the Board of Directors for Rainbow Council for four years. Henry has also been an active member in local politics by serving as a committeeman for the past sixteen years. He was a director for the USO Board of Illinois during the 1980s.
