Info | Janice Bowling has spent her life contributing to her family, her community, her state and her country. She now wants to use this experience to represent the people of the 4th Congressional District of Tennessee in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Bowling believes low taxes, strong National Defense, sanctity of human life and the Second Amendment Rights are more important than ever. She is an outspoken opponent of the state income tax, and in Tullahoma she is known for protecting the rights of the people.
Janice helped Congressman Van Hilleary win his first term in 1994. She continued working for him until March 2000 as his District Director for the southern half of the sprawling 22-county district.
Janice believes that September 11th has given us the opportunity to recapture our values, refocus our vision and restore our conservative, common-sense voice in Washington, D.C. Bowling is prepared to be the strong conservative voice in Washington fighting for low taxes, strong National Defense, the sanctity of human
life and the Second Amendment rights.
Bowling graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Education/Special Education. Janice and her husband, Temple, moved to Tullahoma in 1972 when he was stationed at Arnold Engineering Development Center. Her husband, a retired colonel in the Air Force Reserve, is director of contracts at AEDC.
The Bowlings have three grown children; Temple, Elizabeth, and Jonathan. Temple and his wife Kimberly have three children, Rivers (Temple), Walt and Tyner Beth.
The Bowling's are members of Grace Baptist Church in Tullahoma.
