| Info | Rep. Kevin A. Elmer, a Republican, represents parts of Christian, Stone and Lawrence counties (District 141) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Elmer is a private practice attorney. He also is a licensed architect and a fourth generation bricklayer.
Rep. Elmer is a member of the Springfield Bar Association and the American Institute of Architects. He and his family attend Southgate Baptist Church in Springfield.
Rep. Elmer is a 1989 graduate of Salem High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Arkansas in 1994 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2000.
Rep. Elmer was born December 18, 1970 in Salem. He currently resides in Nixa with his wife, Nancy, and three school aged sons. Rep. Elmer is the nephew of Dorman Steelman and cousin to David Steelman, both past members of the Missouri House of Representatives
