InfoBob Poe has had a 28-year career in both the Alaska private and public sectors. He has served four Alaskan Governors during his career and his public sector positions have included Executive Director of the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority, Executive Director of the Alaska Energy Authority, State Commissioner of Administration, Deputy Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Transportation and Alaska International Trade Director responsible for offices in Anchorage, Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei.

Poe has extensive private sector experience including Senior Vice President of ASCG Incorporated, a subsidiary of Alaska’s largest Native Corporation, Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, Practice manager at Coopers & Lybrand, and senior consultant with Price Waterhouse.

He has been critically involved in a variety of economic development efforts including leading Alaska’s marketing and negotiating teams to attract the Federal Express cargo hub to Anchorage.

Bob lives in downtown Anchorage with his wife Terzah, an Inupiat Alaskan and their Siberian Huskies, Ben and Jerry.

He holds a Masters of Business Administration (international finance and economics) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (finance and marketing), both from the University of Missouri.
