For the past nineteen years, Dr. Holtz has been an administrator in public schools across Wisconsin. He has served in rural and large city school districts. In 1999, he was named by his peers as Wisconsin State Principal of the Year, and was also named as a National Distinguished Principal. He has been instrumental in closing the achievement gap in the last three districts he served. As a superintendent, he has focused on collaborative relationships with the community, business, and families to raise student achievement and increase their opportunities for success.
