InfoJeremy is a Licensed Professional Counselor working with at-risk children and their families at Mercy Home for Boys. He serves as the Treasurer of the Logan Square Green Party, a Local Affiliate to the Illinois Green Party.

Raised in a working class family in Minnesota, Jeremy has lived in Logan Square since 2004. Jeremy received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Philosophy, and Legal Studies from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota and his Master's in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Throughout his graduate studies, he served as Co-Chair of The Chicago School's Social Justice Group and supported himself working as a photographic technician in a local lab.

Jeremy is currently a member of the following organizations:

Affiliate Member, The Illinois Psychological Association, 2008-present
Affiliate Member, The American Psychological Association, 2007-present

Jeremy spends much of his free time working locally as an activist on issues of healthcare, non-violence, gender issues, political access, and affordable housing.

Jeremy ran for this same seat in 2008 and received 21% of the vote and the endorsement of the Chicago Sun-Times and the Independent Voters of Illinois, Independent Precinct Organization.

As a self-described clinician-politician, Jeremy believes we need to treat the system, not simply its effects.
