InfoAdam Lang grew up in Illinois, south of Chicago. After high school, college was financially out of reach so he went to work doing a variety of jobs, from waiter to tool machinist, while going to community college part time. He has been in the Philadelphia area for the last ten years and has continued his studies at Drexel University while working as a Network Engineer.

Adam Lang currently lives in North Philadelphia, near Girard College. While being involved to increase the quality of life of the neighborhood, he has been an active member of the Brewerytown Sharswood Community Civic Association, where he is on the Board of Directors. He is also involved with the West Girard Supermarket Coalition fighting to bring a full service grocery store to the neighborhoods of Fairmount, Brewerytown and surrounding area.

Adam Lang is also politically active in trying to bring better government to Philadelphia and increased awareness to the communities that tend to be forgotten by their elected officials. He has a variety of articles fighting for such causes published in The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Daily News, The NY Times, The Public Record, Metro, The Bulletin, The Northeast Times, The Loyal Opposition and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He has also been recently named Chairman of the 29th Ward, which includes the neighborhoods of Fairmount, Brewerytown, Sharswood and North Central Philadelphia.
