Info | Kacie Starr Triplett is a life-long resident of the 6th Ward, and currently serves as the city’s youngest legislator. Kacie is a graduate of St. Elizabeth Academy, and has served as the District Affairs Coordinator for Congressman Russ Carnahan and as the Community Outreach Coordinator for former Minority Leader, Dick Gephardt, in both Washington, D.C. and St. Louis.
Prior to her election, Kacie served as a Commissioner for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, and as a former fellow with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and the Sue Shear Institute.
Kacie is a small business owner and a property owner. She is the former vice chair of the 6th Ward Democratic Organization, recording secretary for the Young Democrats of Greater St. Louis, and a member of the Women’s Political Caucus.
Kacie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hampton University and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Webster University. She resides in the same house she grew up in as a child, in the Tower Grove East neighborhood.
