| Info | Garnet Wilcox, manager within a large Canadian retail company, was nominated to represent Alberta's NDP for Calgary-Elbow in October 2007.
Garnet has been actively involved in environmental and social issues for many years. He was part of a team of activists that brought national attention to the poor conditions forced upon people on Northern Ontario Native Reserves.
Garnet's interest and involvement in politics started at age twelve, and since then he has been actively involved in all three levels of government. He previously served as a school board trustee, and assisted in many political campaigns.
Garnet enjoys helping others and he is excited to have the opportunity to give a voice to ordinary Albertans.
