Foerderer, and reelected to the four succeeding Congresses (November 3, 1903-March 3, 1913); chairman, Committee on Revision of the Laws (Fifty-ninth through Sixty-first Congresses); unsuccessful candidate for renomination in 1912; continued the practice of law until his death in Philadelphia, Pa., on October 25, 1919; interment in West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
