Info | Rep. Cloria Brown, a Republican, represents the County of St. Louis (District 85) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2010.
Prior to her legislative duties, Rep. Brown worked for MasterCard International as vice president of Information Systems from 1981-1997. She also has worked as a software tech manager for Statistical Tabulating Corporation and Wohl Shoe Company and as a clerk for Universal Printing Company and Von Hoffman Press.
Rep. Brown is a member of the following organizations: St. John’s Evangelical United Church of God, Lemay Chamber of Commerce, Affton Chamber of Commerce, South County Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson Barracks Community Council, Reagan Federated Republican Women, Missouri Federation of Republican Women. She also is a former Lemay Township Republican Committeewoman and a 1st Senate District Republican Committeewoman. In addition, Rep. Brown volunteers for the Lemay Housing Partnership, Inc. and was named volunteer of the year for her work at a shelter for battered women.
Rep. Brown is a 1959 graduate of McKinley High School and a graduate of Washington University where she received her B.A. in Information Systems in 1978.
Born May 29, 1942 in Manila, Arkansas, Rep. Brown currently resides in St. Louis with her husband, Frank Brown. They have a daughter, Catherine (Brown) Keaton.
