InfoJeri has been the CEO of The Center for Family Resources since 1984. Under her guidance, the organization has grown from a small financial assistance agency to a multi-function human service organization, serving the needs of the whole family in order to help them attain self-sufficiency and responsibility for their family. In 1984, the organization employed 11 staff, had a budget of $250,000, and rented 3,000 square feet from Kennestone Hospital. Today, The Center for Family Resources, a United Way funded organization, employs 30 staff, has a budget of over $3,000,000, and owns property valued at $10,000,000 to include a one-stop center with 60,000 square feet, a two bedroom condo, and a 32 unit apartment complex offering transitional housing for homeless families and affordable housing for low income, working families. The organization operates 10 apartments off-site for short-term housing and 16 for transitional housing.

Prior to coming to The Center for Family Resources, Jeri served as the Director of Volunteer Cobb, a United Way service, and as Agency Relations Director for United Way. Born in Iowa to a career Navy officer, Jeri lived throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States. She moved to Cobb County in 1973.

Since becoming part of the Cobb community, she has been very active in many civic and volunteer activities. She has been Chairman/President of the East Cobb Newcomers Club, Cobb Christmas, Cobb County Rape Crisis Center, and Cobb County Community Council. She has taken an active leadership role with Special Olympics for Cobb, Junior League of Cobb/Marietta, Council of Volunteer Administrators, United Way Advisory Committee, and Cobb County Children's Center. Currently, Jeri is the Past Chair of the Cobb Community Collaborative, member of the Advisory Boards for Kennesaw State University’s Master in Public Administration and MSW programs, Past Chairman of the Cobb Community Transit Board, member of Wellstar’s “First Steps” Advisory Board, and was appointed by the Governor to the Board of Commissioners of the Commission on Equal Opportunity. She is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Marietta, Leadership Cobb (Class of 1985-1986), Cobb Chamber of Commerce, CEW, Cobb Republican Party, and Cobb Republican Women’s Club. Jeri was chosen as the 1993 "Woman of Achievement" by the Cobb County YWCA and Mrs. Cobb County by the Smyrna-Oakdale Moose Lodge #1917 for 1996. Most recently, she was honored as one of Atlanta’s 25 Power Women To Watch by Atlanta Woman magazine and was chosen by Family Connection to receive the 2007 Community Achievement Award for her role as Chair of the Cobb Community Collaborative.

She was accepted into the Executive Leadership Program for Nonproft Organizations sponsored by the Goizueta Business School at Emory, Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits in June and the Regional Leadership Institute sponsored by Atlanta Regional Commission in September.
