| Info | Rep. Bob Ward, a Democrat, represents part of St. Genevieve and St. Francois counties (District 107) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Elected to his seventh consecutive two-year term in 1994, Rep. Ward served as Majority Floor Leader from 1991 through 1995. During the 84th and 85th General Assemblies, Rep. Ward was elected Majority Whip. He currently is a member of the House Correctional and State Institutions Committee.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Ward owns the R.D. Ward Land and Rental Company.
Having served two terms on the North County R-I board of education, Rep. Ward is also a member of the following organizations: Desloge Methodist Church; St. Francois County Democratic Club; Mineral Area Elks No. 2583; Desloge chamber of commerce; FOE; and Ozark Hills, Aeerie 3350.
Significant legislative accomplishments for Rep. Ward include bills on libraries, community colleges and lethal injections.
A graduate of Desloge High School, Rep. Ward received a bachelor of science degree in business from Murray State University in 1963, then attended Southwest Missouri State University.
Born July 3, 1940, in Desloge, Rep. Ward resides in Bonne Terre with his wife Joy Vincent Ward. They have two children: Robert Kevin and Shannon Lee.
