Info | Matthew M. Gabler
Gabler decided to leave his position as a legislative policy staffer for the House of Representatives this month to seek the post, and currently serves as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. “When you get the chance to work inside the Capitol, you either grow cynical about the way the political speeches and promises look nothing like the legislator’s voting record, or you step up and offer a principled alternative. I’m in this to change the way Harrisburg does business,” Gabler said.
Gabler, 24, is a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in DuBois, and a graduate of Bucknell University and DuBois Central Catholic High School.
