| Info | Tom Hanson grew up on Chicago's North Shore and attended New Trier East where he was class President. He later attended Denison University in Ohio where he received a degree in Communications. He has worked for Grubb & Ellis, Golub, Tribune Companies, U.S. News and World Reports and has been Principal of Hanson Commercial Real Estate in Chicago for the past 19 years. Tom serves on the Board of Directors for Life Directions, a not-for-profit organization that mentors 7th and 8th grade 'at risk' students in lower income neighborhoods. Tom is 54 and married with a preschooler. They attend Willow Creek Church in Northfield.
Tom has a deep affection for the United States and seeks to make America a safer, cleaner and more financially responsible country for the generations to come. He is concerned about what will be left of our country for his children and grandchildren if government isn't reigned in. He is a neighbor, a son, a father, a husband, a patriot and a businessman with dreams of a better future. Not unlike this great country's founding fathers.
