• Enlisted US Navy 81-88 Hospital Corpsman Served in the Multinational Peace Keeping Force in Lebanon aboard USS Iwo Jima 82-83
• Worked as a Corpsman at the Bethedsa Naval Medical Hospital assigned to the ER team specifically assigned to President Reagan and Admiral Rickover.
• After 911, enlisted into US Coast Guard Reserves. Special Training Instructor in Port Security 2003 US Coast Guard / Training Center - Homeland Security – on going training with Coast Guard Command
• November 24 1985 Special recognition awarding the Navy Achievement Medal while on duty at the Naval Special Warfare facility BUDS (Navy SEAL Team) training / swimming program -- Rescued and saved the life of a student at sea / continued CPR – resuscitation to hospital. (Tos saved the life of student.)
• Became a police officer with SD Police Dept. 1990 to present.
• Helped institute the Bicycle patrol program. Became a Field Training officer (about 1993)
• Worked under the Sol Price Grant and eventually became a community relations officer specializing in education – children’s education at schools / solving graffiti problems with community participation
• Established “Community House” where a small community handled their own problems under the guidance of Police when necessary thus saving unnecessary police intervention and response.
• Help to initiate and establish Terra Alta Neighborhood Alliance – Solved Crime problems – prostitution – drugs etc.
• Established the Hispanic Alliance modeled after “Community House” emphasized controlling Family violence and educating Hispanics about Local laws and policy.
• Appeared on the TV show “Myth Busters”.
