| Info | Bill Bonko, Alberta Liberal candidate for Athabasca-Redwater, is currently in the second year of a heavy-duty mechanic apprenticeship and also co-owner of a window covering installation company.
Bill hopes to use his youth, energy and enthusiasm to inject some much-needed fresh air into the Legislature. For the past 12 years of his life, Bill has been surrounded by politics. His father, the senior Bill Bonko, is the MLA for Edmonton-Decore, so he already has an excellent grasp of the political realities of the province. With his passion for politics and the people of Alberta, Bill is eager to get to work to make this province a better place for all.
If elected, Bill will work to re-regulate electricity to save Albertans money, strengthen the health care system and eliminate health premiums, and provide a strong voice for rural citizens.
A nature lover and avid hunter, Bill also enjoys staying active through sports and weight lifting.
