Gill, who contested the election; unsuccessful for election in 1912 to the Sixty-third Congress; resumed the practice of law; member of the board of directors of St. Louis Union Trust Co.; died in St. Louis, Mo., March 19, 1960; interment in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
