Cooper; reelected to the Thirty-eighth Congress and served from June 3, 1862, to March 3, 1865; elected to the Forty-first Congress (March 4, 1869-March 3, 1871); was not a candidate for renomination in 1870; resumed the practice of law; died in Allentown, Pa., October 29, 1896; interment in Fairview Cemetery.
