Info | Dr. Michael Babula was born the youngest of five children in a working class family. His father was an electrician who served during the Korean conflict and his mother was a retired real estate agent from Staten Island, New York. His father developed lung cancer and past away in 1989. Michael was only 12 years old at the time of his father’s death. As a teenager in a single parent household, Michael overcame tremendous adversity to obtain a Bachelors degree in Politics and History from Rutgers University, Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Seton Hall University, and dual doctorate in Psychology and Politics from the University of London.
Michael ran for public office at age 21 and was one of the youngest candidates to have ever won a primary in New Jersey. He was endorsed by Former President Gerald R. Ford and called a Lincoln Republican by fellow academics at Rutgers College. This is because he was strongly in favor of promoting civil rights and civil liberties within the local community.
