Info | Rep. Mark Parkinson, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles County (District 16) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in a special election in February 2008.
Prior to his legislative duties, Rep. Parkinson spent seven years as the Deputy District Office Director for U.S. Senator Christopher “Kit” Bond. One of his responsibilities included conducting Senator Bond's Listening Post program in 17 counties in Northeast Missouri.
Rep. Parkinson graduated from Francis Howell High School and also attended St. Louis University, where he received a degree in political science in 2000.
Rep. Parkinson was born in St. Charles in 1972 and currently resides there with his wife, Brigit.
