Sidney Camp and at the same time was elected to the Eighty-fourth Congress; reelected to the eleven succeeding Congresses (November 2, 1954-January 3, 1979); chair, Committee on Standards of Official Conduct (Ninety-fourth and Ninety-fifth Congresses); was not a candidate for reelection to the Ninety-sixth Congress in 1978; resumed the practice of law and farming operations; engaged in banking and real estate; died on June 24, 2007, in Griffin, Ga.
