Info | A first generation Indo-Canadian, Anita Agrawal has years of experience working as a grassroots volunteer and organizer for numerous community organizations and has participated in and organized a number of political campaigns.
Active in the arts community, Anita has served as President of the South Asian Visual Arts Collective where she spearheaded new scholarship programs and partnerships with the Ontario College of Art and Design and UNESCO, and has had her work exhibited and published in numerous shows and publications.
Anita has also devoted significant time volunteering with Women in Trades Ontario and with the Cecil Community Centre teaching English as a Second Language.
Currently doing advanced studies in Anthropology Anita also has extensive experience as a small business manager, an educator and a researcher.
Anita is committed to standing up for the working families of Etobicoke Centre and is looking forward to representing them at Queen’s Park.
