Robert Henderson is proud to be part of Robert Ghiz’s new Liberal Team and is eager to start working on issues in need of immediate attention, such as the agriculture and fishing industries, the area’s major economic engines.
“Many farmers and fishers I talk to are concerned about the future of their industries. They are becoming over-burdened with government regulation and ineffective safety-net programs that do not meet industry needs.”
Robert is also concerned about correcting the neglect of Cedar Dunes Park, retaining rural physicians and improving support for persons with disabilities – issues he feels have been neglected for too long.
Robert is a life-long resident of the district and has volunteered with wide array of community organizations and endeavours, from economic development, to sports organizations, music festivals, community school associations, agricultural and environmental associations and the Freeland Presbyterian Church.
He and his wife Sandra (Leard) reside in Freeland with their two daughters, Chantel and Sara.
