| Info | David's parents Vincent and Georgina Blacquiere owned and operated family restaurants in North Rustico and Cavendish, where he and his 5 brothers and two sisters grew up. He attended Stella Maris High and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force for a career that spanned twenty-seven years. David and his wife Linda of 36 years have two children, Krista and Jamie and one grandchild Ashlyn.
Mr. Blacquiere has also served as the Fire Marshal for the United Nations, as well as on boards for Child Injury Prevention, Seniors Healthy Living, Safer Communities Partnership, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD), Community School Program, Crime Stoppers P.E.I., P.E.I. Royal Canadian Legion Command and Community Council.
