| Info | In 1985, Dan Belforti graduated with honors from the University of Lowell with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Dan began his career in 1986 with General Electric as a systems engineer for 3 years and then as a financial analyst for 2 years.
In 1991, he returned to graduate school via full academic scholarship at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst where he graduated with honors (3.83 GPA), earning an MBA with a concentration in Finance. In addition, he was the 1993 MBA Class president.
Dan joined Merrill Lynch in 1994 as an Investment Management Consultant. After 2 successful years with Merrill Lynch, Dan moved to Tucker Anthony, an independent regional brokerage firm. Dan's client and asset base increased dramatically during the next 3 years at Tucker Anthony as his track record of investment performance continued to build. With high client loyalty and retention, Dan decided the time was right to leave Tucker Anthony to start his own investment management firm, Belforti Investment Management.
During the last 2 years, Dan has successfully transitioned, operated and improved his investment management business with branches in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with the help of two full time employees, Sheila Tamagni (Executive Assistant - MA) and Nathan Dunn (Investment Executive - NH).
