| Info | Mr. Wilson Alexander is an African American male who resides in Southwest Philadelphia.
He is a member of the Rock Family Worship Center, as well as the father of Senate Alexander.
Mr Alexander enjoys daily work outs in the gym., he is a long distance runner and enjoys reading books that "enlighten you", he also enjoys listening to and reading the word, his favorite music is gospel music.
Mr. Alexander has been active in community politics since the age of 14, his first campaign was with State Representative Hardy Williams who was running for Mayor of Philadelphia, Mr. Williams did not win that election but he did in fact open up the minds of the voters to the fact that they had choices besides what the democratic party offered, thus was the birth of independent politics, (Candidates who run for office without the support of the democratic party).
Through this effort it was made possible for the multitude of African American elected officials you see today, he is the "Dean" of independent politics in Philadelphia, his campaign style is legendary and is duplicated in all successful campaigns for public office...
After the Mayor's race, Senator Williams would serve a few terms in the State House of Representatives before going on to have a distuguishing career in the Pennsylvania State Senate., Senator Williams is Mr. Alexander's mentor and political father.
