Raised in the Yiddish culture he adopted English and French while living in Toronto and Montréal where he has now lived for 20 years with his son. In Toronto he began his studies in science but changed to political studies out of priority and worked as a lecturer in Canadian political economy at York University.
He has arrived in Montréal to continue his doctoral studies in political science at l’Université du Québec à Montréal where he completed his Thesis on national identity. Since 1967 he has spoken out for the national rights of the Palestinian People and is the co-founder of the coalition the Alliance of Concerned Jewish Canadians.
