InfoCouncilman Chuck Eddy was elected to office in March 1999 to represent Kansas City’s 6th District and was re-elected in 2003. He currently serves as chairman of the City Council's Finance and Audit Committee and is vice chairman of the Operations Committee. Dr. Eddy has been appointed to a variety of boards and commissions. These appointments and offices include:


A veteran of public service and civic involvement, Eddy served as the 6th District representative on the Public Improvements Advisory Committee (PIAC) from 1997 to 1999. In addition, Eddy served the Kansas City Police Department as a reserve officer. He retired with the rank of captain and commander of the Reserve and Auxiliary Officers in 1994 after 25 years of voluntary service to the community.

Eddy also has been listed in several editions of Who’s Who.

Councilman Eddy holds a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College and is currently in private practice.
