| Info | Grim, of Allentown is a Democrat originally appointed as coroner in January 1997 to fill a vacancy, replacing the retired Wayne E. Snyder Sr.
In November 1997, Grim won a special election to a two-year term and secured a four-year term in the 1999 election, defeating Republican nominee Kevin E. Hunsicker.
A former police officer for Macungie and Slatington boroughs, Grim is an instructor at the Allentown Police Academy. He is vice president of the Pennsylvania Coroners Association and a member of national and international professional groups.
