Info | Bob was born in Kelvington, Saskatchewan on September 8, 1945. His parents moved to Saltcoats in 1948 where Bob completed his education.
Bob began his career in mining with International Minerals and Chemicals in Esterhazy. Following this, Bob began farming in 1974. Bob was councillor and then reeve in the R.M. of Saltcoats for 14 years.
Bob’s political career began in 1995 when he was elected to the provincial legislature to represent the Saltcoats constituency. As one of the founding members of the Saskatchewan Party, Bob has served as Critic for Government Relations and Municipal Affairs; Deputy Chair, Intergovernmental Committee; and as Opposition Whip. Bob is currently the Agriculture Critic, Government Relations Deputy Critic, and serves on the Privilege Committee.
Bob was a member of the Standing Committees on Agriculture, Intergovernmental Affairs, and Municipal Law. He was also a member of the Special Committee on Tobacco Control.
Bob has three children - Grant, Garnet, and Jodi; four grandchildren - Austin, Lauren, MacKenzie, and Brady; and two dogs - Bugsy and Meko.
