| Info | Charles M. Oberly, III, received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Penn State University in 1966. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School. He is a Partner in the Law Firm of Oberly & Jennings, P.A. His field of specialty is commercial, corporate and civil litigation, government relations, internal corporate investigations and criminal defense. He is a member of the Society of Attorneys General Emeritus Network. He has also argued before the Supreme Court, arguing Delaware v. Prouse, in 1979. He is currently an instructor at the University of Delaware, in the College of Criminal Justice. He is the founder and Co-editor of Delaware Law Monthly, a publication begun in 1979, which reports all the significant decisions of Delaware’s Courts.
Charles M. Oberly III currently retains the record as the longest-serving attorney general in Delaware. Currently has been practicing law in the Wilmington firm of Oberly Jennings & Rhodunda.
