InfoRep. Ellen Brandom, a Republican, represents parts of Scott, Cape Girardeau, and New Madrid counties (District 160) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to the House in November 2006.

In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Brandom is retired after spending 32 years as a petroleum distribution company owner in Sikeston.

Rep. Brandom is a member of the First United Methodist Church where has chaired the Children’s Weekday Ministry program; served on the church finance committee and served on the Church Council and as a trustee. She is also a member of the Sikeston Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Sikeston Miner Board or Tourism. Rep. Brandom served four terms on the Sikeston R-6 School Board; she currently serves as a member of the Southeast Missouri State University Foundation and is the Treasurer of the Sikeston Public Schools Foundation.

Rep. Brandom graduated from Quincy High School in Quincy, Illinois. She received her A.A. from Stephens College and a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Born March 29, 1942 in Quincy, Illinois, Rep. Brandom resides in Sikeston. She and her late husband, Richard, have two children: Mary Ellen and Mark. She is also a grandmother of two: Trevor and Trey.
